Added bonus is a day 0, where Niels comes to pick you up from either Cork airport, or Killarney and already takes you onto the land for an opening ceremony, shows you some great sites already, gets you to accommodation where your first home cooked meal by our local chef will be waiting. In this way you are fully set-up and relaxed to get to a flying start for day 1.
Added bonus no. 2 is the last day, day 7, where Niels will deliver you back to your airport of choice (Cork, Kerry or Shannon - Dublin if there is no other choice) and we still add some interesting sites on the way to the airport.

What is NOT included:

Travel and health insurance
Day 0 is already an introduction to the land, an opening ceremony in a temperate rain forest, a story, and opening exercises to prepare for day 1.
Our journey together can be up to 6 months in total, depending on when you book - taking into account the 3 months of after support. See what other ladies thought of the profound transformation process on our testimonials page, here.
What you need to bring:
Good physical health, be able to at least walk 6000 steps a day. Have a doctor's clearance of general good health
Health insurance and travel insurance
Waterproof hiking boots or Wellies (not just ‘water resistant’ - no, waterproof). Have them broken in if you are going with hiking boots. If you choose Wellies, make sure that they have good grip and that your ankles are strong enough to hike on mountainsides without the support a hiking boot gives you
Layered clothing for dealing with the wind, including a windbreaker, even in the height of summer
Sunscreen
Bug and tick repellant
Heart of an adventurer - to be able to look your old programming in the eye and crave change. That is the attitude of someone whose Rite of Passage becomes extraordinary
What you do NOT need to bring (will be provided for you):
Hiking poles
Umbrella
Lunch/snacks
Car (we will be zipping about in our car)
Cancellation policy:
You can cancel your Rite of Passage up to 6 weeks before the starting date, however the non-refundable deposit will not be refunded. If you have to cancel after this date, no refund will be available. This is due to the highly-individualised nature of our work and the fact that we can accommodate only one person per week, with spots filling far in advance. If you have to cancel before the 6 week deadline, 40% of the total amount is refundable.
Recordings:
Please be aware that all of our trance sessions will be recorded in audio format. This for Niels’s protection. All recordings will be stored safely and not be made available to anyone.
Testimonials:
It might be that we ask you for a testimonial after our time together. This so you can share your experiences and help to clarify for other women if this is a good investment for them.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is this Rite of Passage?
Our unique approach to the Rite of Passage Journey utilises our proprietary Arrival Method™ approach, which has been developed over 12 years of multi-layered initiation into what this kind of change work takes. It is a total of eight days of immersion, a journey that carries you from one chapter of your life into the next. Each day builds upon the last, so that the entire week becomes a single ceremony—woven together through shamanic practices, deep trance work, and encounters with sacred land.
Many women use it as a threshold, a line in the sand between “what was” and “what is now beginning.” We will hold you through that process, guiding you with the steadiness it requires, while giving you the freedom to discover what is waiting on the other side. This holding and guidance starts months in advance of you arriving to the land, and extends to months after, so that we assure that there is no chance of sliding back into the old you that you are wanting to leave behind.
Where does it take place?
On Ireland’s wild South-Western peninsulas—the places that still look and feel like the ancient Celtic lands. This is not the Ireland of glossy postcards, but of hoary mountains, forgotten valleys, mossy forests, bogland alive with spirit, and sacred sites tucked into quiet corners of the land.
It is the edge of the world. A place where you step out of ordinary time and into myth. A place where transformation comes not with effort, but with ease—because the land itself calls it forward.
When can I come?
The main seasons for these Rites are Spring through early Autumn, when the land is at her most generous. Some women make it their sole reason for coming to Ireland, others weave it into a longer journey across the island or Europe.
In Winter, options are very limited and only available by special request. The weather then is wild, the days short. But if that calls to you—if you feel the pull to enter this work in the darker season—we sometimes make space. It must be asked for with intention.
Why Ireland?
For years we have taken women into the forgotten places of the West. At first, it was simply to share our love for the sacred sites. But what we discovered is that everyone who came felt an undeniable pull. It was not a curiosity or a bucket-list desire—it was a calling.
Ireland calls her people home. And in that calling, she facilitates change. The land itself becomes a mirror, a teacher, a partner. As you release blockages within yourself, you release them on behalf of the land. This exchange is part of the mystery of this place.
Ireland has always held a pivotal role in the spiritual life of our planet. When you are here, standing in her mountains, you feel it. That is why we take this work so seriously—and why we make sure it is the right fit for all three of us.
What do the six days look like?
You will arrive on what we call Day Zero. Niels will meet you in either Killarney or Cork Airport and bring you to Kenmare, our base for the week. This Day 0 is gentle—introducing you to the land, letting you breathe in Ireland’s nature. Our aim is to close this day with a simple opening ceremony and to get us all set-up for the rest of the week.
Day 1 is a little more structured than the rest. We start the day in the privacy of our own forest—a hidden valley in the Beara Mountains, where river, trees, and quiet hold us in their embrace. Here Niels teaches you the fundamental skills for the rest of our time together. The afternoon we go out into the nearby valleys, hike up mountains, cross streams and visit forgotten power spots - places chosen for their living potency. The day ends with a powerful ceremony at a forgotten stone circle we will have to ourselves. A perfect place to let go of a lot of the stuff that no longer serves.
Day 2 through 5 are less structured; now that you’ve got the basis of trancework down, we can steer together, in true teamwork, to focus on what you want to focus on. Things to remove, and things to add. Days are divided between driving through beautiful scenery to the next place where we will do ceremony, and longer hikes. We average about 2 ceremonies per day, but this is flexible depending on your stamina, and how much you wish to tackle during our time together.
The rhythm is one of depth and expansion: trance and ceremony, stillness and movement, forest and mountain. Along the way we share nourishing food, pauses at local treasures, and moments of laughter and rest. The days are very full (you will sleep well!), but never heavy. They become a tapestry you will carry for the rest of your life.
Day 6, the final day, unfolds gently; like a long-awaited exhale. After all the thresholds you have crossed, Day 6 is not about rushing forward but about arriving—fully, deeply, into yourself. It is a day of sacred feminine ceremony, held with reverence and quiet beauty, where the experiences of the days before are woven together into something lasting by Elizabeth.
This is where the journey settles in your bones. The fire and intensity of transformation soften into a profound sense of belonging—to yourself, to your own wisdom, and to the timeless circle of women who have walked this path before you. It is a return, but not to who you were when you began. It is a return as the woman you are now—initiated, grounded, and whole.
Day 6 is where you are welcomed back into the sisterhood, not as a guest but as one who has earned her place. There is a quiet power in this moment, a recognition that what has shifted within you is permanent. You will feel it: the landing, the anchoring, the unmistakable knowing that you have crossed into new territory and can never again be uninitiated.
This closing is not an ending, but a beginning. A beginning marked by the rare kind of ceremony that very few women ever experience—a rite of passage so sacred and precious it cannot be explained, only lived.
On day 7 Niels will drive you back to the airport of your choice, unless you have booked additional days in either the East or in the West.
What if I have dietary needs?
Rural Ireland is not always kind to vegans or those with special dietary requirements. But we will make sure you are cared for. We will make sure you are well fed with breakfast, lunches and snacks and our phenomenal chef can take care of all of your special requirements with home cooked dinners.
Is this truly one-on-one?
Yes. This is not a group retreat disguised as personal work. It is just you and Niels on days 0-5 and you and Elizabeth on day six.
The nature of this work requires a depth of focus and intimacy that is only possible one-on-one. For six days, we will hold the space fully for you—guiding you in trance, taking you to the land, anchoring you when needed, doing ceremony with you and walking with you through the thresholds that arise.
That is why we always begin with an exploratory call. It is important that we all feel the resonance, the trust, the readiness. This work is powerful. It must be a fit.
What are the sacred sites?
Some are marked and known—ancient stone circles, ruins of churches, fortresses now forgotten. Others are hidden, places found only after years of wandering, not marked on any map. Some are visually breathtaking, while others are unassuming to the casual eye yet vibrantly alive to those who can feel.
They are not grand cathedrals or vast monuments. They are smaller, humbler, intimate places where the veil is thin. Places where ceremony goes deep. Over five adventure days, they weave together into one great ceremonial space, carrying you through the passage from old self to new.
What about the trance itself?
No two women need exactly the same thing, which is why the trance work shifts depending on who you are and how the week unfolds. Some sessions are deep and silent, others are carried by drumming, story, or angelic presence.
What remains constant is that these altered states allow you to release what no longer serves you—without needing to relive or retell trauma. They open space for joy, clarity, and renewal.
Will I see some of the tourist sites too?
Yes, in passing. When we are on the way to sacred places, we often pause for photographs or to step into a well-known spot. If you’d like, you can also book an extra day to drive the Ring of Kerry as a closure to your journey.
But the sacred work always takes priority. These days are not about ticking off tourist stops, but about entering Ireland’s hidden heart.
Is there a catch?
No catch. But there are requirements. You must be in good health and able to walk at least 6,000 steps a day. You must also have a willing heart—because this work will shine light in places you may have kept hidden.
This is not therapy. It is deeper and older than that. We will be there with you, holding the space, guiding, and cherishing. But you must meet us with honesty, openness, and the willingness to step into the unknown.
Know also that our home and land are works in progress. The forest is young, the car is not new, the paths are rugged. Although we care deeply for you and do everything in our power to make this an end-to-end service, do not expect luxury. Expect realness. Expect wild edges. Expect transformation.
Every one of these questions and answers leads to the same truth: this is not an ordinary retreat. It is a Sacred Rite of Passage, alive with land, spirit, and mystery. If you feel the call—then you already know.
